Ayodhya’s Grand Celebration: A New Dawn for Raghunandan Raghav Ram Lalla

January 22, 2024, is a date etched in the annals of history, poised to be the harbinger of a new era in Ayodhya. The much-anticipated Pran Pratistha ceremony at the Ram Temple signifies the culmination of centuries of yearning, the struggles of generations, and the fulfillment of an age-old vow. Tomorrow, Awadhpuri will witness the grand enshrinement of the soul of Sanatana culture, Raghunandan Raghav Ram Lalla, in a divine temple at his birthplace.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking with passion and fervor, emphasized that this monumental event marks the realization of a vision that commenced in 2014—an endeavor to establish Ram Rajya, the embodiment of righteousness and harmony, across the nation. The significance of January 22 goes beyond mere religious celebrations; it symbolizes a sacred day to restore the pride and honor of the country.

Participating in various events, Chief Minister Adityanath declared, “When Lord Shri Ram graces his magnificent temple after 500 years, it not only establishes Ram Rajya in Ayodhya but fulfills the work initiated in 2014 to establish it nationwide.” He urged people from all walks of life to join the celebrations, emphasizing the importance of collective participation in events leading up to the consecration.

A noteworthy initiative is the Swachh Teerth Campaign, a cleanliness drive undertaken by the BJP, led by Chief Minister Adityanath himself. This campaign, extending until January 21, reflects the commitment to ensuring a pristine environment for the historic event. Adityanath highlighted that from January 16 to January 22, the continuous recitation of Ramayana and Ram Sankirtan in every temple, village, and city would contribute to the spiritual ambiance.

For those unable to physically witness the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Chief Minister Adityanath extended an invitation to watch the live broadcast on television, emphasizing the significance of the event for the nation and the world. He assured that after the consecration, Ayodhya would be open to all, with special attention to avoiding VIP movement before January 22 to ensure the comfort of pilgrims and visitors.

Adityanath also shed light on the ongoing infrastructure and beautification projects in Ayodhya, painting a vivid picture of the transformation underway. From the marvels of Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Dharma Path, to the beauty of the ghats, the city is undergoing a metamorphosis. The widening of roads, railway lines, airport facilities, and the introduction of electric buses are set to enhance Ayodhya’s allure.

In a tech-savvy move, the Chief Minister launched the official website of Ayodhya Police and a Digital Tourism App, available in multiple languages. This step aims to facilitate easy access to assistance from the police and enhance the overall experience for tourists and pilgrims.

As Ayodhya gears up for this historic occasion, the world watches with bated breath. The dawn of January 22 promises not only the consecration of a divine temple but the revival of a cultural legacy that has endured through the ages. Ayodhyadham, with its arms wide open, awaits the influx of devotees, tourists, researchers, and inquisitive minds, ready to embrace the sanctity of this momentous occasion.
